I have always loved flowers of any kind, but after receiving a necklace before my wedding back in 2008, I really feel in love with the simplicity of cherry blossoms. I even chose the cherry blossom for my wedding invitations. I always gravitate towards that design. I wanted to incorporate that in the copper cuffs, and see if I could make the design work. Etching the copper is always a gamble. The designs can be drawn clearly, yet come out of the acid muddy. I was so happy with how this cuff turned out!! I have made a few more pieces with similar design detail. Currently I have made it into a few copper cuffs and key chains. I am attempting to make it in smaller pendants, but have had a few fails in the attempt to etch thinner lines while keeping the detail feminine. This bracelet was purchased by my sister in law, and I will be happy to see it on her. I always use fire to paint the cuffs, but seeing it react with everyone body chemistry, it will continue to change colors. Creating a truly bespoke piece
