The Multitasking Mompreneur

Hi, I’m Meghan. I’m 36 years old, a mother, a fiancée, an entrepreneur—and a woman learning how to survive something I never imagined I’d face.

I have a beautiful 3-year-old daughter who is my entire world. In July, her father took her, and since then, I’ve only been able to see her once. There aren’t words strong enough to describe the kind of pain that creates. It’s not just missing your child—it’s waking up every day with a piece of your heart missing and having no control over when, or if, it will be whole again.

This blog—and my Alienated Parent Series—is something I started because I didn’t have support when this first happened. I didn’t have guidance, hope, or even a place where I felt understood. My goal is to change that for someone else. If you’re going through something similar, I want you to know: you are not alone, and your story matters.

Who I Am Beyond the Pain

While this chapter of my life is incredibly heavy, it is not the only thing that defines me. I’ve built businesses, created opportunities, and poured my heart into helping others—because even in the darkest times, purpose can still exist.

I am the founder of The Bouncing Bow, a digital music method designed to make learning music more accessible, engaging, and fun—especially for beginners and young learners.

I also created M&M Music Pathways Foundation Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to providing free music lessons and instruments to children who might not otherwise have access. Music has always been healing for me, and I want to pass that gift on to as many kids as possible.

My fiancé and I are also travel agents, running Out of Flight, Out of Mind – Bonnie & Klyde’s Getaways. We help people escape, explore, and create memories around the world—something that feels especially meaningful now, knowing how precious time and connection truly are.

In addition, we create personalized print-to-order products—little pieces of joy made just for the people who order them. Whether it’s something meaningful, funny, or sentimental, we love helping others bring their ideas to life.

Why I’m Sharing This

I didn’t start writing this series because I had everything figured out. I started it because I didn’t.

I’m still in the middle of the pain. Still navigating the legal system. Still holding onto hope every single day that I’ll be reunited with my daughter in the way I’m meant to be.

But if sharing my story helps even one parent feel seen…

If it gives one person the strength to keep going…

If it reminds someone that they are not crazy for feeling the way they do…

Then it’s worth it.

Gratitude in the Middle of Grief

Through all of this, there is one person I truly don’t know where I would be without—my fiancé.

He has stood by me through the breakdowns, the uncertainty, the anger, and the heartbreak. He has helped me keep going on days when I didn’t think I could. Quite honestly, I don’t believe I would still be here without him.

And for that, I am endlessly grateful.

To Anyone Who Needs This

If you are an alienated parent…

If you are missing your child…

If you feel like no one understands the pain you’re carrying…

I see you.

This space is for you. This series is for you.

And we are going to get through this—one day, one step, one breath at a time.
