So, I came across a very honest and logical question the other day: “where should I point my pentacle?”
Crazy how simple questions are so hard to find answers, right?
So, like I told the fellow Witch, pentacles should mainly point East. Meaning that the Spirit point should point East.
Of course, this is debatable, since in some cases it should point North or South.
BUT… it should NEVER point West!
Think of it this way:
East is where the Sun, the Moon and all the stars rise – where they are being born. Therefore, East is the most positive direction u can get.
On the other hand, West is where the Sun, the Moon and all the stars set – where they die. Therefore, West is the most negative direction u can get. So, it’s a no-no.
You should also think of the pentacle’s Spirit point as the direction ur energy will flow. This will help u direct ur pentacle accordingly every time…
…but never West.
