Nicola Lerra is an Italian multi-award-winning composer working across film, animation, and visual media. He studied Film & Game Music Composition at the Film Scoring Academy of Europe under the mentorship of Andy Hill and Norman Ludwin. His work has been internationally recognized, including a Hollywood Music in Media Award.

Lerra’s musical philosophy is rooted in depth of thought and clarity of expression. His scores are characterized by a distinctive blend of rich orchestral harmonies and electronic textures, expressive piano writing, and strong, memorable themes. Among his projects are the rescoring soundtrack The New Era for the final trailer of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and the score for the animated short film My Grandfather Was a Cherry Tree, shortlisted for the Academy Awards in 2017 and widely acclaimed at international film festivals.
