Nikos Karabasis is a professional journalist, member of the Greek Union of Journalists with a degree in Political Science. He has worked for many years as a Political Editor and as a manager in newspapers, magazines, television, radio and the internet. He has covered all contemporary events around the world, of course with a focus on Greek affairs.

He has presented revelations and investigations in the media he has worked in - some of which have shocked Greece (indicatively - The Ocalan affair, 1998-1999). He has conducted many interviews on his own TV and Radio shows on all current affairs issues and has very often participated in TV and radio interviews as a political analyst. He was the founder of the highly successful news website iReporter.

In recent years he has also been active in the field of Political Communication. He was a political communications advisor in the office of Prime Minister Andreas Papandreou, and was head of communications at the Ministry of Shipping in four consecutive different governments with seven ministers. He was the Communications Advisor who led MePA25(Diem25) to parliament in 2019. As well as Communications Consultant to parliamentary or local authority candidates and various businesses. In the elections of May and June 2023 he was a candidate for the Parliament in Thessaloniki and his hometown Xanthi with the combination of Ecologists GREENS - Green Unity.

He is an author - his book The Revelation of Atlantis : Filton and Niria is an international best seller and in Greek by Livanis Publications. At Livanis Publications the reader can also look for his book Angels in Hell. Also as a music composer he is preparing in the next time for release the album "Celestial Verses: Journeys Through Alpha's Echoes" after the publication of his book Alpha Station: book one.

The dramatic developments in the Middle East with the massacres in Israel and Gaza and the ongoing war of attrition (from October 7, 2023), led him to the decision to precede the music album of symphonic music (with Jazz influences in a new musical genre of timbres) entitled Echoes of Moonlight (Our Women Cry), which began to be released gradually, Passion for our Children, The Harvest of Souls.

Meanwhile he releases the music tracks from the album «HeartBreak» that paint dancing musical pictures in a feverish rhythm with jazz influences.
