My trip to Khao Yai was one of the most memorable experiences of my time in Thailand.
I had the incredible opportunity to join an English camp for students from Suan Dusit University, and it was a perfect blend of nature, learning, and fun. (At Suan Dusit you also have a hotel attached to the university which is far more cheaper than the other hotels in Bangkok.)
Nestled in the heart of Thailand, Khao Yai is renowned for its stunning natural beauty, and I was blown away by the lush forests, towering waterfalls, and breathtaking landscapes. The students and I spent our days exploring this UNESCO World Heritage Site, immersing ourselves in the tranquil environment and taking in the rich biodiversity.
The camp wasn’t just about sightseeing—it was also an opportunity for students to practice their English in a hands-on and interactive way. We organized various English-related activities, from fun team-building games to language challenges that pushed the students to use their creativity and communication skills.
It was inspiring to see them step out of their comfort zones and embrace the spirit of learning.
In between the educational activities, we also took time to soak in the beauty of Khao Yai—whether it was trekking through the jungle, spotting wildlife, or simply enjoying the cool breeze on a hilltop.
The experience truly was a perfect combination of adventure, education, and unforgettable memories. Khao Yai was the perfect backdrop for bonding with the students and deepening our appreciation for nature and the Thai culture."
