Every Not So Crabby piece is thoughtfully created from pre-loved materials - each one unique, with its own story, quirks, and charm. Because of the handmade and upcycled nature of our items, please read our return policy carefully before purchasing.

All Sales Are Final

Due to the one-of-a-kind and small-batch nature of our upcycled goods, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once an order has been placed.

Please double-check sizing, descriptions, and photos before completing your purchase.

Exceptions

If your item arrives damaged in transit or is significantly different from the description, please reach out within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos.

Care & Sanitation Instructions

Each Not So Crabby piece is made with care - often from thrifted, vintage, or repurposed materials - and pre-cleaned before creation. Still, we encourage you to follow these guidelines to help preserve your garment and peace of mind:

Before Wearing

All fabrics are washed and sanitized prior to sewing, but we recommend a gentle wash before first wear, especially for those with sensitivities.
Use mild detergent and cold water. Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, or fabric softeners.

Washing & Drying

Wash inside out on a gentle cycle or hand wash.
Hang dry or lay flat to avoid shrinkage or warping.
If ironing is needed, use a low-heat setting and avoid direct heat on appliqués, trims, or vintage fabrics.

Natural Wear & Character

Many Not So Crabby garments are intentionally distressed, frayed, or softly faded - this is part of their upcycled design and character.

Minor fraying, uneven textures, or subtle graying in certain fabrics are not flaws, but reflections of their pre-loved history and the sustainable story they carry.

Jewelry & Accessories

Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after use.
Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, and moisture.
If your soldered jewelry begins to lose its shine, you can gently restore it using a small amount of Carnuba (or car) wax and a soft polishing cloth.
Store in a dry place, preferably in a small fabric pouch or jewelry box to protect the finish.

Every item is created from pre-loved materials - minor variations, distressing, or signs of previous wear add to their authenticity and story. These are not imperfections but rather the beautiful fingerprints of transformation and renewal.
