About the Workouts

My workouts take place right in my living room – simple, realistic, and doable from home! I use basic equipment:

  • A pair of dumbbells (2 kg – for beginners I recommend 1 kg, and for more advanced users, one heavier dumbbell like 5 kg or more)
  • A resistance band (the stretchier, the easier – choose what suits your strength)
  • Optional ankle weights (mine are 2 kg, but not necessary)
  • A workout mat and proper training shoes are a must.

I include plenty of breaks, and for every challenging exercise, I show an easier version so everyone can join – no matter your level.

Please note: I’m not a certified professional trainer – I train for myself and share what works for me.

Hi, I'm Julia – a married mom of four with a big goal: I want to stay fit and healthy well into old age so I can one day skateboard with my great-grandkids ;)

I've always been active in some way, but my workouts have been more "when-I-find-the-time" rather than a true routine. Now, I'm on a mission to make fitness a regular part of my life – not just for today, but for decades to come.
