People often ask me how Nuturelle started, and the truth is, it wasn't born from a grand business plan or a moment where I suddenly had everything figured out. It grew quietly over time. From my experiences, my education, my faith, and, perhaps most unexpectedly, from becoming a mum.
I've always loved learning. Long before I became a mother, I was drawn to education, child development, and creating systems that make learning more meaningful. My journey into educational technology gave me the opportunity to think deeply about how people learn, how products can solve real problems, and how good design can make knowledge more accessible.
But motherhood changed everything.
Suddenly, all the theories I'd studied became real life.
I wasn't just reading about child development anymore, I was living it. Every milestone, every new word, every sleepless night, every "Why?" (and trust me, there are a lot of those!) became an opportunity to see just how incredible the early years really are.
Like many parents, I quickly realised that raising a child doesn't come with a manual. There was plenty of information available, but much of it felt overwhelming, contradictory, or difficult to apply in everyday life. I found myself asking the same questions many parents ask: Am I doing this right? Is this normal? How can I be more intentional?
Those questions became the beginning of something much bigger.
I started studying even more deeply, not because I wanted more qualifications, but because I wanted to become a better mother. The more I learned, the more I realised that the earliest years are about so much more than milestones. They are the years when children begin forming their identity, building relationships, learning to regulate emotions, discovering how the world works, and understanding who they are.
That conviction eventually became Nuturelle.
The name reflects exactly what I hope to do: nurture children naturally and intentionally by equipping the adults who love them most. Because when parents are confident, informed, and supported, children flourish.
Today, Nuturelle has grown into more than I first imagined. It's becoming an ecosystem of parenting resources, children's books, courses, practical tools, and digital experiences all designed to make trusted guidance accessible to everyday families.
At the heart of everything is the S.E.E.D. Framework: Spiritual Formation, Emotional Security, Exploratory Learning, and Developmental Support. Together, these four pillars help parents nurture the whole child, not just academically, but emotionally, spiritually, socially, and developmentally.
Alongside Nuturelle, writing has become another way I serve families. Some of my books speak directly to mothers, like Rebirth, which reminds women that when a baby is born, a mother is also being born. Others are written for children, helping them understand their identity, God's love, and the values that shape their character. Even my fiction explores themes of purpose, faith, and belonging. Although they look different on the surface, every book carries the same heartbeat: helping people grow into who God created them to be.
People sometimes ask whether I'm an Early Years Advocate, an author, or an EdTech Product Manager.
The answer is yes to everything.
Each role allows me to serve families in a different way. Educational technology helps me build practical solutions. Writing allows me to tell stories that encourage and teach. Early years education gives me the knowledge to support parents with confidence. Together, they all point towards the same purpose.
Above all, I'm a follower of Jesus.
My faith shapes how I see children, families, and the work I do. I believe every child is intentionally created by God with unique gifts, purpose, and potential. I also believe parents have one of the greatest responsibilities and privileges in the world. They are not simply raising children for today; they are shaping the next generation.
That belief influences every course I write, every resource I create, every product I design, and every story I tell.
If there's one thing I hope people remember about me, it isn't the number of books I've written or the platforms I've built.
I hope they remember that I cared deeply about families.
That I helped parents feel more confident.
That I encouraged children to know they are deeply loved, wonderfully made, and created with purpose.
And that, in every way, the work God entrusted to me helped build stronger foundations that will influence generations to come.
Because when we nurture the beginning well, we don't just change childhood.
We change lives.
