KEEXS, Africa’s first innovative, social impact footwear brand. Founded by sneaker lover Jide Ipaye, Keexs is introducing an African voice to the world of fashion footwear.

Aside from filling a glaring gap in the market for Afrocentric, high-quality, made in Africa sneakers, KEEXS gives back by including a socially conscious arm to the brand. 10% of all profits are donated to charity and they employ Nigerian craftsmen to breathe life into their bold and distinctive designs.

KEEXS is unequivocally African; the brand offers a 365 approach to representing the continent on a global scale. From the logo to the vibrant colours and patterns that appeal to the creative, bold and fashion-conscious.

The KEEXS brand narrates the African story in a unique and unapologetic way. For example, The “Ah-free-can” features Fela Kuti’s face and the “Eyo” slip-on is inspired by the Eyo masquerade.

KEEXS is being hailed as Africa’s answer to Nike, however, instead of comparing an African-made brand to Nike and other Western brands. We should be proud to highlight a brand made by Africans, for Africans.
