About P. Lynne Designs:
P. Lynne Designs is a Journal business, but it is more than selling journals, I sell a lifestyle. Even though I claim that 2009 is the year that I started P Lynne Designs. As MDN Creates, I created scrapbook albums and greeting cards, I blogged about the latest in all things scrapbooking, and taught techniques that can put the “wow” in scrapbooking and greeting cards. I had fun, but something was missing.
In 2012, the name changed from MDN Creates to P Lynne Designs. I still created scrapbooks and greeting cards, but I was getting into journaling and all things that had to do with stationery. First off, I did not see anything that was related to African American singlehood. So, instead of crying about it (I can get sentimental at times). Also, there was nothing about faith. So, I set off to create that type of line. I started small, creating generic products, such as journals and other products with Photoshop. Around the same time, I discovered Canva, and never looked back at Photoshop, plus Canva was cheaper and easier to use.
In 2020, during the pandemic, I decided to go completely digital with my products, offering journals, notebooks, note pads, and planners that a customer can download and print, as well as use on their tablet through their note-taking programs, such as GoodNotes, Notability, and OneNote; bookmarks and stickers that can be printed off, and other stationery products. In 2022, I started offering POD (Print on Demand) products such as mugs, notebooks, note pads, stickers, and greeting cards from Printify and Printful.
In 2025, I will be creating mini worksheets and other mini courses in writing, journaling, and other courses to help people find out what they want out of life, especially if it helps them to create extra income.
