The industrial development of the future can be built on several principles. The basis of one of the principles is the transition to a circular economy. Such an economy involves the use of waste as a secondary raw material. Under such conditions, enterprises that wish to buy used cardboard boxes and other waste will actively conduct their work, after which they will process them into materials suitable for further production. These enterprises operate today. However, the transition to a circular economy is not yet fully visible. But in large developed countries, the goals of developing such an economy have already been outlined precisely through the processing of the same waste paper, and in practice they are already being achieved. In particular, these are the USA, Canada, the countries of the European Union. The implementation of the relevant tasks allows them to receive economic and environmental dividends.
Alas, there are still states in which there is no source of the above dividends, which are formed as a result of the development of the processing industry. Their population suffers from environmental pollution. This is facilitated by many landfills where the same paper waste rots. The recycling system does not work at all or functions with low efficiency. As a result, waste is accumulated, the volumes of which are estimated in billions of tons. There are already precedents for the formation of huge landfills, the elimination of which requires financial and labor investments. Every year, the mountains of garbage continue to grow. The authorities of the states where all this is happening are unable to change the situation, although they are trying to do something.
What to do?
The development of society does not stop. The world has already set goals to strive for. In those states, while the situation with waste remains deplorable, business should take its own measures. We are talking about enterprises that are faced with the formation of the same cardboard waste. They need to try to get in touch with companies that work not only within the country, but also abroad. It is necessary to set the task - not to send garbage to a landfill, but to try to sell it. In the world market for the same waste paper today there is a catastrophic shortage of raw materials that can be further processed. Why not make sure that those who can recycle have the amount of raw materials they need? In addition, by performing such a task, it will be possible to provide a source of additional income. In parallel, it will turn out to do a useful thing for your country - to reduce the amount of garbage that ends up on the territory of your native state.
What should the authorities of states where processing, as an industry, either do not exist or function poorly? Of course, decisive action must be taken to develop and support such an industry. For some countries, this is still a difficult matter. Because any development requires investment. However, it is necessary to understand the benefits of steps taken in this direction. By developing the processing sector, it is realistic to receive constant and good dividends, and not only in terms of money. If you recycle old corrugated cardboard and other waste, you will be able to solve a global problem - to reduce the amount of garbage. Accordingly, environmental dividends will be guaranteed to be received by the society living in a particular state.
