📍 Intro: The Stillness Feels Heavy
There are moments when God feels quiet.
Not absent—just… still.
You pray, but the room feels hollow.
You worship, but it feels like singing into a fog.
You know He’s real. You know He’s good.
But you don’t feel Him.
And yet, in those very moments, you still have to move.
🛑 God Is Always There—Even When It Doesn’t Feel Like It
Whether we feel Him or not, God is present.
There’s a piece of God inside every living soul.
We are all born carrying His breath, His fingerprint, His spirit.
Whether we acknowledge Him or not, He is with us.
Sometimes we confuse God’s silence with absence. But silence is not abandonment.
Just like a teacher is quiet during a test, God doesn’t stop being there just because He stops speaking.
🔁 Sometimes God Is Waiting for You to Move
We say, “God, open the door.”
And He whispers, “I already did—you just have to walk through it.”
There are seasons where God is not going to carry you the whole way.
He’s going to dare you to move.
“I’ve got the floodgates wide open,” He says.
“But you have to get to them.”
It reminds me of that old song, “Dare You to Move” from the early 2000s.
That song felt like God speaking directly to our stuckness.
Because that’s the truth:
Sometimes the miracle isn’t in the feeling—
It’s in the movement.
⚙️ Faith Without Works Is Dead
Yes, God is powerful. Yes, He can do anything.
But faith is not passive.
The Word says:
“Faith without works is dead.” – James 2:26
That means even when we don’t feel Him, we obey.
Even when it’s quiet, we show up.
Even when it’s hard, we move.
You can’t ask God for steps A through Z and refuse to take step A.
Meanwhile, there’s someone already at M on their journey who needs your help.
And if you just did A through F?
You could meet them where they are.
That’s the kind of movement that brings miracles into motion.
🕊️ You’re Not Failing—You’re Growing
Don’t mistake numbness for failure.
Don’t let the enemy lie to you and say, “You’re too distant from God to be used.”
You’re not far—you’re just in transition.
You’re not stuck—you’re just becoming.
God is still with you.
And He’s waiting to see if you’ll believe that enough to take the next step.
🏁 Closing: Move, Even If You’re Crying
So here’s my encouragement to you today:
Move.
Even if you’re scared.
Even if you’re tired.
Even if you can’t hear God right now.
Even if you’re crying while you take the step.
Because your movement is faith in action.
And God meets faith.
Even in the silence, even in the heaviness—He’s watching.
And when you move, He moves too.
🙏 Let’s Pray:
“God, I don’t always feel You, but I know You’re here.
Give me the strength to keep moving.
Help me take the steps You’ve called me to take—even in silence, even in uncertainty.
I trust that You’re guiding me, even when I can’t see the map.
In Jesus’ name, amen.”
