Merry Christmas!
I just want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! How can it be this late in the year already??
I made a lined, flannel shirt for my husband for Christmas. I finished it on Monday, and forgot to take a picture til after I had it wrapped.
Other than the shirt, I've done nothing for sewing at all lately. I bought a wolf pillow panel and some coordinating fabric for one of the girls. She hasn't been sewing long, so I thought I'd write up instructions for that specific panel. So, there I sat with rulers and fabric and paper and pencil, and typing up what I came up with. I haven't finished it yet, but I have another week, since they all won't be here til New Years' Day.
The weather forecast for central MN is not good. We had about 4-5" this morning. Then it quit, the sun even came out for awhile. It started snowing again, there's a half inch or so where Mike plowed. I was worried that we wouldn't be able to make it to Christmas Eve Mass tonight, but unless it really starts to dump it down in the next hour, we'll make it! Then we'll come home and have our supper--shrimp and lobster! It's what we did last year. Christmas Eve was always here with my parents, but they're gone now and things have changed.
Weather permitting, we'll go to Mike's parents' tomorrow. But with up to 20" of snow predicted-- who knows? And if we're snowed in, we'll manage to have something to eat.
May you have a very Merry Christmas!
