My Sapphire is home!

We had taken my machine in on a Saturday. Around 10:00 the following Monday, the phone rang and I saw it was the store calling, and I knew it couldn't possibly be good news if they were calling so soon. A belt had broken, they didn't have any on hand, but hoped to have it by the end of the week. I did alot of piecing with the Janome 415. Late Friday afternoon, the repairman called and said my machine was ready to go. We went on Saturday to pick it up. He showed me the belt. It was broken, and there were spots that were almost completely broken through. He said he didn't know why it happened, it was the first he'd seen on a Sapphire. I had posted on the Sapphire group about it, and mine isn't the only one. One lady spent $100 getting hers fixed. He didn't charge me anything for mine [thank goodness!]. He said belts normally aren't covered, but he took care of it for me.

It was a pleasure to get it back. The first thing I noticed is that it was quieter than it ever was. It was so nice to have all my wonderful features again.

It was great to have my machine back and get at the things that were waiting for me.
