Yesterday I started on a new sample for the Old Creamery.
We have several bolts of fabric that we haven't found a sample to use them for. I tried, I really tried, to use them for Baker's Dozen Squared, but couldn't come up with a combination that we liked for this pattern. So on to Plan B.
We have quilt samples of the Riley Blake Daisy Fields fabric line, but nothing small. Michelle and I tried mixing and matching and came up with a good combination. I downloaded the fabrics into EQ7. Usually EQ gives a good idea of what the finished product will look like, but this time the results were somewhat washed out looking. However, it was enough to know the fabrics would work well together. 
Believe me, the actual fabric looks 1000% better than this (yes, 1000)!
I had several other projects to finish first. Finally, yesterday I was able to start on it. It was one of those times when I just hated to stop sewing! But the clock told me I had no choice. Can't wait to get back to it today.
