The Island Batik Spring/Summer 2024 fabric arrived yesterday! Before I would allow myself to open the box I needed to finish a quilt store sample first.
I sorted out the fabric and measured the exact amount received, down to the quarter inch. That way when I'm done and measure the leftovers, I know exactly how much fabric I've used. After that I started to cut. And today I started to sew.
As usual, I'm using Deb Tucker's Studio 180 rulers, this time the Corner Beam. There's a lot of trimming, but my blocks are accurate!
