Making Some Changes

The Rundown (what's a rundown???)

Hello, everybody! Over the last couple weeks, on top of releasing a TON of new threads, such as "Touch Grass," "Party Like It's 1999," and today's "Doubloons Over Deadlines," I've been keeping close track of the shop's analytics to see what items are popular and what's not gelling with customers. I've made some interesting discoveries that are going to set the direction of the shop for the Summer.

Sunsetting Blackwatch Elite & Other Changes

First of all, Blackwatch Elite memberships have been sunset and are no longer available. All exclusive, free Blackwatch Elite downloads are now available for ALL Blackwatch members! All Blackwatch members also get access to the Blackwatch Captain's Log blog posts, other exclusive shop items, and monthly Coupon Codes. Early Access for Blackwatch members on some items will still be a thing going forward.

You can subscribe to a Blackwatch Membership to support the Lithowright Shop in a BIG WAY for just $1/month.

Commissions Closed

Until further notice, Commissions are closed. This just wasn't a popular option for visitors, most of whom it seems just wanted me to keep coming up with funny t-shirts! That's all fine and I'm happy to focus on that. Speaking of which...

Fewer Decorations and Crests

The numbers just speak for themselves. "America Gaming" is still the most popular item on the Lithowright Shop, with 38 views in 10 days. Meanwhile, "Cereal Snacker" has shot up to second place with 35 views in just 5 days! "Touch Grass" is also the top-selling AND top-rated item! Meanwhile, "Train Platform" is the only Decoration to break double digits with just 13 views. The temptation certainly is there to cut Decorations entirely or at least try an entirely differently style for them.

Crests meanwhile are also struggling to break double-digit views or result in sales. The Swan and Parrot Crests are both tied for first with 13 views apiece. I guess you're all fans of birds? Much like with Decorations, the temptation is there to remove them, or rework them into something else. No big decisions on this front, but needless to say, new Crests will not be the priority for a little while at least.

Two Words: More Threads

The focus is going to be on Threads for a while, and even getting current designs onto other fashion items like tank tops, crop tops, and hoodies. The Lithowright Shop started as a hub for Work-From-Home supplies and decorations, but these days you have to be ready to pivot and with good reason. The Lithowright Shop would not be heading in the direction it currently is without some experimentation, and now the footing is slowly but surely being found. I'm not abandoning the kinds of items that built the foundation of the shop in the first place, but the Threads are gaining traction, and it's important to find your strengths and emphasize them.

Closing Out

Threads are starting to gain some popularity, and so this is where the Shop's focus will be for a little while. Remember that you can refer a friend and you'll both get 50% off! Thank you for your support and stay tuned for more cool stuff!
