Hi,
I am writing all about herbs within my membership site, each post includes a little section on the herb, it's growing habits, the culinary uses, the medicinal uses and pruning. I am being blown away by the medicinal uses of the everyday herbs that are easily grown or purchased from the supermarkets. Seriously it is phenomenal I have just written a post on basil and the medicinal uses are endless, the one that made me question a lot is the fact that it reduces the bacteria that causes tooth decay. I just checked and you can buy basil toothpaste at £4.99, but why is not on the shelves in every supermarket easily available and promoted?
We all know that fluoride is a toxic substance that is why your toothpaste tube tells you not to swallow it. When I was pregnant on both occasions I could not stomach toothpaste it made me sick and that was my body obviously telling me that it was toxic to the baby that was growing inside of me. So why are they still using it in our toothpaste and water?
Anyway enough of the negativity, there are countless other medicinal benefits to this herb is can protect your gut, which is extremely important, did you know that your immune system is mainly within your gut? It can also relax your blood vessels and thin the blood like aspirin unlike aspirin basil will not cause you health problems later. It can prevent certain cancers, breast cancer, colon and pancreas. It can also help stroke patients and improve brain memory. Not only that basil repels certain insects.
If you would like to know more about herbs and plants in general consider joining my membership it's £12 a month for that price you will learn the basics about standard herbs and later on other plants. There is also a plus membership at £25, which will include the courses that I am creating. Or you could just google and learn about these things yourself I personally love researching all things plants.
