So I just read an article about sowing seeds with links to a well known corporation that sells everything and delivers it to your door. I got annoyed so annoyed although you wouldn't know it because of late I am much better at controlling my emotions as in not allowing them to consume me.
Anyway I just thought they want us to save the planet or so they say so. So why not encourage people to walk to the local shop that sells seed trays they're not heavy, granted you might need to get soil too, but you could get that when you next go shopping. If we want to save the planet we have to be smarter and some things seem to me to be dumb. I get it it's easy to click that link and order the item right there, but you can get seed trays cheaper than the price advertised or you could look on Facebook Marketplace to see if someone is giving away plant pots for free and you can sow your seeds in them. I was mortified again the other day when I saw a post of someone asking what people do with their used plastic plant pots and fortunately most people said that they reuse them, but one did say that they binned them. NO NEED for that shit someone else could make use of them if you don't.
I bet I have said to myself several times since Wilko's has closed that I would have gone to Wilko's for something had it of still been there. We should use things before we lose them or consider how we would feel if something were to be lost. I did that the other day with birds, I would hate a world without birds, then I saw that slug pellets could poison birds if they eat the slugs that have eaten the pellets and I had a meltdown so I did a post on how to keep slugs away with plants or by feeding them. We can work with nature instead of against it, it is not the enemy.
The image is the baby bird we looked after, I don't want to go into that story as it's far too upsetting, below are a few close encounters the baby pigeon is to prove that they exist. Horatio our resident pigeon brings his babies and his females to dine. I imagine him saying come with me you will eat like a queen lol. I used to be afraid of birds you know lol how times change, we have to adapt and grow. Keep growing :)
