Plant License

So today, I found out that I am not supposed to sell plants online without a plant license, which is not cheap. So, I have had to remove all of my plants from this site. One day, I will get one, and I will sell my plants online. You can sell plants in person without one, so I don’t think Facebook Marketplace counts as online, as people come to purchase them in person from our home.

Luckily, I have been granted permission by my place of work to run an indoor market, and I intend to have a stall myself to try and sell my goods, as well as selling tea and coffee for the club. The first one will take place in a few weeks. It was on my list of ideas to promote the club and obtain members. I hope they take up my other ideas because I really do want the club to do well, as it’s used by a lot of people within the community. I still can’t get over how kind they are to me. Mind you, anything would be a leg up from my former employer, lol. I laugh away the pain and trauma, so I laugh a lot.

I really want to pot on the seeds that we sowed a few weeks ago, as they are pretty much all seedlings now, even the Morning Glory, which is actually not supposed to be sown now. But I loved the color, so I gave it a try anyway. Gardening is all about experimenting, in my opinion, and it’s nothing to be afraid of. The climate is changing despite the deniers, so I figured anything goes. I have been under the weather lately with a chest infection, so I don’t really want to be standing in the rain potting on until I am better. Sometimes, I wish I had a greenhouse or a shed, then I could carry on.

I have started to continue writing the script about plants that talk and a true love story. I am a sucker for a true love story, and I refuse to give up the hope that it actually exists. I already love it. I smile as I write it, imagining meeting someone that shares the same dreams as you do. Ah, we can but dream.

Tonight is the speaker night at the Gardening Club, and I have to get there a little earlier to help behind the bar with the rush of us gardeners, so I should really be showering right now. Good job I don’t take too long in getting ready.

One last thing, the picture is, believe it or not, a baby snake plant that we propagated. I can't help thinking it looks a bit rude lol. We have given one away to a plant killer who delights in telling me how it’s doing almost every time we see each other. It brings me joy. Someone on Marketplace also asked if I had one, and I said she could have it for free. I am never going to be well off at this rate or be able to fix my car, but I find making people happy much more pleasurable. Like I said in my previous blog, kindness is way more important.

Hope you’re okay, and if you’re building an ark, please can I join you on it? Feels like this rain is never-ending.

Muchos love x
