Hola,
I hope you are well. I suspect that you are feeling better now that Spring has finally arrived. Personally, I can feel my whole body exhale. After months of darkness, cold, and stillness, the world is waking again, and I find myself waking with it. The birds are singing in the trees, buds are forming on branches, and flowers are pushing their way back into the light. Even the ladybirds and butterflies seem to be stretching after a long, deep sleep.
There’s something about this season that gives you a new lease on life. The sun feels warmer, the air feels kinder, and today I could have easily stepped outside without a coat. I didn’t, but the extra warmth wrapped around me like a small blessing. Where I live now, the trees are abundant. Their branches hold entire choirs of birds, and their songs fill the air in a way that restores balance to my nervous system. Each step I take among them brings a sense of ease and joy that I didn’t realise I’d been missing. The air itself feels different, calm, energising, quietly fulfilling.
As I wander, I keep spotting flowers I don’t remember seeing before: leopard’s bane glowing like tiny suns, and anemone blanda scattered like soft purple stars across the woodland floor. Colour is returning to the soil, to the trees, to the hedgerows. After such a dark and barren winter, it feels like the land is breathing again, and as the earth softens, so do I.
Gratitude rises in me like a waterfall flowing over rocks, steady, cleansing, unstoppable. Spring reminds me that life returns, warmth returns, colour returns, and so do we.
If Spring is calling you, even quietly, let yourself answer. Step outside for a moment today, feel the ground beneath your feet, listen to the birds, and let your phone stay tucked away. Let the world meet you as you are.
If this kind of slow noticing, seasonal living, and nature‑led restoration speaks to you, you’ll find more of it woven through everything I share over at Plantlife Joy, my little home for plant wisdom, gentle rituals, and grounded guidance for sensitive souls.
You’re welcome to wander there whenever you feel the pull.
