Welcome to Pretty Fit Wellness!

My journey into the world of fitness began in high school, fueled by my love for sports like basketball, track, and football. This passion followed me into the United States Air Force, where I served as an X-Ray Technologist. While serving I was a Physical Training Leader. Which was there to help guide other airmen in their workout and keep them motivated to stay on task to pass their annual physical training test. In 2014, I took my dedication further and earned my Personal Training Certification from ISSA, along with a Zumba certification, marking the start of my professional career in fitness.

In 2014, I founded Pretty Fit Fitness, which has since evolved into Pretty Fit Wellness. With over a decade of experience in the fitness and wellness industry, I have expanded my expertise by obtaining certifications in fitness nutrition, speed, agility, quickness, Pilates, senior fitness, and team sports parenting.

Elena has had the privilege of working in some of the top gyms in the country, including LA Fitness (now Esporta Fitness), Anytime Fitness, and Curves. She also was a trainer for Gladiator Fitness. In 2017, she opened her own fitness studio in Waldorf, MD, and launched a fitness DVD called Pretty Trap Dance Fitness, which stands for Team Rhythm Aerobics Party—a fun dance fitness program designed to get you in shape with upbeat beats and R&B vibes. Elena would host this class in her fitness studio, private fitness parties, schools, at the US Department of Labor in DC as well as at the Charles County Health Department.

Elena has been an active contributor to youth sports since 2016, starting as a T-ball coach for Southern Maryland Youth Sports. In 2018 and 2020, she hosted free workout sessions for parents at the Riverview Raiders and Progress Village Panthers youth football organizations. Elena also served on the Riverview Raiders Board in 2020. By 2022, she was coaching for the NFL Southshore and N Zone Sports youth flag football leagues, achieving three winning seasons combined. Additionally, she was one of the Athletic Directors for NFL Southshore Flag Football in 2022. Currently, Elena is a board member of the nonprofit D1 Sports and serves as the team mom for the Progress Village 11U football team.

As a mother of two student athletes, I understand the challenges of balancing family life with personal wellness. Alongside my fitness career, I am also a licensed esthetician, and dedicated to helping others look and feel their best.
