For many years, I lived and worked as an educator across Asia, spending most of my time in Shanghai.
Because standard English curricula were rare, I learned to build my own from the ground up. I progressed from teaching kindergarten to opening my own successful training centre, adapting curricula for everyone from primary students to adults preparing to study in the US and UK.
Later, I moved to an international school to teach primary English and Science.
When my family returned to South Africa, my son faced a massive transition. He had to adapt to the South African CAPS system, a Western teaching style, and English as a second language.
To prevent the language barrier from holding him back, I built a custom digital portal for him.
I designed project-based labs he could do independently after school to test if he could actually use what he was learning.
