Yes, it is essential to have references and to know what you want. Otherwise, it would be difficult for me to create an asset that you are unsure of.

If:

• Your project does not align with my scope of work, style, that I predominantly have. I may reject it.
• Your desired project is not attainable at my current skill level. I will have to decline you.

• However: Don't be scared to ask, I'm always open to bring forth new ideas and designs to the table with you to create a product that can captivate and inspire.
