KINDWalk is Nassau’s highest-rated independent pay-what-you-want walking tour—100% local, 100% authentic.
I lead a single daily walk at 9AM where travelers explore real Bahamian culture, history, and street life without the tourist fluff. With over 500 verified five-star reviews across Viator, TripAdvisor, Google, and GuruWalk, KINDWalk is trusted, personal, and unlike any standard tour.
If you want a genuine, unfiltered, beautifully human experience of Nassau, this is the walk.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
We will meet outside in front of the Pirates of Nassau Museum.
If you arrive early but don't see the tour guide (me) please wait until the appointed time of your tour before leaving the meeting point.
The tour guide (me) will be wearing a blue shirt, blue pants and carrying a black umbrella.

The Bahamas has a Tropical climate year round so expect temperatures to range between 80°F and 93°F with a humidity of 60% to 75%.
Therefore, be advised to be prepared with appropriate sun protection (hat, sunscreen, etc.), umbrella or poncho in the event of a rain shower and drinks to ensure that you stay hydrated.
✨NOTE: KINDWalk operates rain or shine with the exception of an actual storm or hurricane.
-
It is recommended to wear comfortable protective shoes. Flip flops🩴 and open toed sandals are NOT suitable and I STRONGLY advise AGAINST wearing them.
We will not be walking on the beach but through the city on the main streets, among everyday traffic and a variety of businesses so PLEASE dress modestly and/or appropriately. ANY and ALL guests arriving at the meeting point inappropriately dressed (booty shorts, swimwear etc.) will not be allowed to join the tour and the booking cancelled.

Is the $10 and $5 booking fee refundable?
The $10 and $5 booking fee is non-refundable.
This small fee confirms your reservation, helps cover admin and platform costs, and reduces no-shows so I can keep KINDWalk running smoothly and tip-based.
What if YOU (the guide) have to cancel?
If I cancel for any reason — weather, emergency, or schedule conflict —
you will receive a full refund of your booking fee with no questions asked.
What if I need to cancel my plans?
If you cancel, change your travel dates, oversleep, arrive late, or decide not to attend for any reason,
the booking fee remains non-refundable.
Can I reschedule?
You’re welcome to request a reschedule, and I’ll happily accommodate if I have availability.
Just note that the original booking fee still applies and is not refunded.
Why is the booking fee non-refundable?
The tour itself is free and operates on tips.
The booking fee protects the structure, reduces last-minute cancellations, and helps sustain the tour so guests who truly want the experience have their spot held.

KINDWalk is a free walking tour that operates on cash tips & gratuities, which means you decide the value of the experience at the end.
The small $10 (adults) and $5 (children) USD booking fee serves one important purpose:
It confirms your spot.
Over the years, I’ve learned that completely free reservations often lead to no-shows — guests book “just in case,” forget to cancel, or simply don’t show up.
This makes it hard to plan group size, manage timing, and offer the intimate, personalized experience KINDWalk is known for.
The booking fee:
- helps reduce no-shows
- helps cover admin & platform costs
- ensures only genuine and committed guests reserve a spot
- allows the tour itself to remain donation-based instead of charging a fixed $55–$75 like other tours
It’s not a ticket price — it’s a small commitment that keeps the tour sustainable, respectful, and accessible.
If I ever need to cancel the tour, the fee is refunded in full.
If you cancel or don’t attend, the fee remains non-refundable.
This structure keeps KINDWalk running fairly and smoothly for everyone.
