My name is Siedah, and I've been a homeschooled kid my whole life. Whenever I got bored, I would beg to use the tablet for gaming and shows. After a while, my mom noticed I was getting too attached. She started taking the device away for longer periods every day. At that time, I had to find other things to do that I liked; that's when my imagination and creativity took off. Since then, I've learned lots of new things and even created a business out of it! I love sharing with kids and their parents who need help pulling them away from unproductive device use. That's why I created this graphic describing my journey to self-motivated, independent learning.
