Choosing Prayer Over Division
My heart has been heavy lately, seeing how much division and hatred there is in the world. It reminds me how much we need grace, compassion, and prayer. No matter our opinions or differences, we should never let disagreement turn into cruelty, slander, or hate. As followers of Christ, we are called to something higher.
Every person is still a human being — someone’s parent, spouse, sibling, friend — created by God and worthy of dignity. We may not always agree with one another, but we can choose kindness over bitterness, prayer over judgment, and faith over fear.
I believe our nation has always been strongest when we stand together, not when we tear one another apart. There is still much to work through, but I trust God is greater than division. In uncertain times, I pray for healing in our country, softened hearts, and a return to love and respect for one another.
The enemy thrives in confusion and hatred, but God calls us to be peacemakers. Let us be people who lift others up instead of tearing them down, who pray instead of arguing, and who lead with faith instead of anger.
Even if we see things differently, I will continue to pray — for our leaders, for our nation, and for every heart carrying hurt.
“If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.”— Epistle to the Romans 12:18
