About the Author

Hello, I’m Rem. I write romance stories, most of which would be classified as ‘romance for men’, even though anyone can read them. Case in point: I’m not a man and I both read and write them because they are my favorite corner of the romance world. My stories often include harems, with one man and three or more women in a relationship, and I occasionally write monoromances with one man and one woman.

Most of my stories are chill, slice of life serials. The stakes are so low they are buried in the ground where no one can find them. I usually write contemporary romance or urban fantasy ‘lite’, which is just a contemporary setting with some monster girls thrown in, because monster girls are fun.

I enjoy writing stories with cozy, found family vibes, but there is always open door smut in my books. Sometimes it will be more of a slow burn, but it shows up eventually.

I write serials with a bunch of short episodes partly because of my ADHD and it’s easier for me to focus and actually get things done if they are 30k words or less, and partly because my stories are so mellow it doesn’t feel right to make them into trilogies of full length novels, because then I feel like I have to make something REALLY exciting happen at the end of each book in the trilogy. And nothing exciting ever happens. Ever.

If you’re like, “Wow, that sounds boring,” then my stories are probably not for you. But if you’re like, “Wow, that sounds super chill and awesome,” then you should check something out. And if you read it and like it, it would be amazing if you could leave a rating, or a rating plus a review, on Amazon. That kind of thing helps out small potatoes authors like me who are trying to live the dream of never working in retail ever again. I worked in dog-adjacent retail, so part of my job was petting lots of cool dogs, but it was still retail, so it still sucked.

If you don’t like reading serials and waiting around for each short episode, then you can relax, go read something else, and wait for the omnibus/complete collection to come out, which is usually a couple months after the final episode.

I always have about five thousand ideas floating around in my head, like too many tabs open on a computer, but hopefully I’ll find the time to get a few of them down on paper. And hopefully some people will read them and actually like them.
