AMC Muscle
AMX
The AMC AMX is a legendary two-seat muscle car produced by the American Motors Corporation (AMC) for model years 1968 through 1970. Built to shatter AMC’s conservative "economy car" image, the acronym stood for American Motors Experimental. It was highly unique as one of only two American-built steel/fiberglass two-seaters of its era, directly challenging the Chevrolet Corvette for significantly less money.
Javelin
The AMC Javelin AMX was an American pony car built by the American Motors Corporation (AMC) from 1968 to 1974 over two distinct generations. Designed by the legendary Dick Teague, it was AMC's bold attempt to break away from its reputation as a conservative economy-car maker and directly challenge automotive titans like the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro. Despite having a fraction of the budget of Detroit's "Big Three," AMC utilized the Javelin to claim massive upsets in the SCCA Trans-Am racing series.
