Ruth Nina Welsh lives in Northamptonshire, in the UK. She began writing songs in her late teens after becoming severely ill with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis. Creativity has been her solace and strength as a musician and writer living with chronic illness. She has been a piano teacher, practised as a counsellor and coach, written self-help articles as a freelance writer and published five CDs of her own music – Introducing RNW, Breathe, Somehow, Heartland & Misfits. Ruth has also just released her debut thriller - Dead Liar. At home all the time now, Ruth lives for her family and friends, her creative world, and her gorgeous garden view.

“Rivers roll, rivers rise, rivers roll into the sea.
I can hear my Heartland calling, across the Irish Sea.”
