Grace .N

Hi, I’m Grace Njoki, founder of Swahili Talk Lab.

I teach professional and practical Swahili and provide East Africa cultural readiness training for NGO professionals, researchers, diplomats, relocation clients, expatriates, and international teams preparing to live and work in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.

My training combines professional Swahili lessons with cultural intelligence, cross-cultural communication, and relational integration skills needed to navigate East African professional environments effectively.

I help professionals develop practical Swahili for meetings, workplace communication, fieldwork, community engagement, travel, networking, and everyday interactions while also understanding the cultural dynamics that shape trust, relationships, leadership, and communication across East Africa.

Unlike traditional Swahili courses focused only on grammar and vocabulary, my approach focuses on real-world communication, high-context cultural understanding, and professional readiness for people relocating, deploying, researching, or working internationally in East Africa.

With over 12 years of experience working across counselling, refugee support, crisis response, and intercultural environments in Kenya, I bring both lived regional insight and practical language training into every programme, digital resource, and coaching session.
