SongLab Zampler. Keyboard Legacy Volume 1 is March's Update.

March's SongLab Zampler update is Keyboard Legacy Volume 1. So if it's great sounding vintage keyboards your after, this is it!

In this library we've got FM Digital Electric Pianos, classic Hammond tonewheel organs, vintage synth leads, and Hohner Clavinet sounds.

The collection features:

FM Digital E.Piano. For me, the star of this collection. A series of eight Zampler patches delivering a wonderfully warm and playable classic Yamaha DX electric piano. If you were around in the eighties you heard this sort of sound everywhere.

STM D6 Clavinet. Originally developed as a 'home entertainment' keyboard, Hohner series of Clavinet instruments were quickly taken up by rock and pop superstars of the seventies including Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, John Paul Jones, and Keith Emerson. Here we have eight 'hard-edged' funky Clavinet sounds for Zampler.

Soft Clavinet. The 'soft clav' offers a more classical sound mixed with a bit of harpsichord. Think of ELP's 'Tank' on this one.

Odyssey Lead. Eight cutting, resonant synth leads for Zampler. Cut loose with some searing analog synth solo patches.

Hammond Tonewheel. A powerful, percussive Hammond L/T Series recreation for Zampler.

Keyboard Legacy Volume 1 is now part of SongLab Zampler. A great sounding, comprehensive library of sounds for Zampler. The best free VST sample player.

It's great for songwriters, producers, and ambient soundtrack artists alike with monthly additions and updates which you get free with just a single one-time purchase.

All the sounds are 'ready-to-play' patches for Zampler so there's no additional editing or keyboard mapping required although you can edit save your own creations using Zampler's power synth editing, modulation, and effects processors.

SongLab Zampler is built around .sfz files, so you can load these sounds via the supplied .sfz file into players such as Plogue's Sforzando soundfont player, although you don't get all the patch variations.
