“Lines That Learn to Breathe”
Hi, I started figure drawing to learn the anatomy and proportions of the human body, but you just have to remind yourself to keep practicing and keep repeating.
👾Starting figure drawing has been both humbling and fascinating. There’s something deeply human about trying to capture the rhythm of a body — not just its shape, but its life. At first, every line felt stiff, like I was tracing a mannequin instead of a person. But the more I draw, the more I realize: figure drawing isn’t about perfection. It’s about observation, flow, and empathy.
Each curve teaches me to slow down. Each gesture reminds me that a drawing isn’t built from outlines — it’s built from energy. Some sketches still collapse into chaos, but others surprise me with a sense of motion I didn’t know I could create.👾
