The fruit of celebrating Tammuz has resulted in some of the most catastrophic experiences to the Jewish community in the last few hundred years. It is not Torah approved. This type of heresy grieves Hashem.
Sadness diminishes the hedge around you. It's idol worship. It shows lack of emunah (faith) in God.

Get wisdom and understanding. You can prevent future catastrophic events.
Study Torah. Spread light. Do mitzvot in honor of those lost during this time period instead.
Instead, challenge yourself to do daily mitzvot every day for 3 weeks. Spread joy! See the difference.
Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10
