It’s been four years since the onset of the COVID pandemic. How are we (humanity) doing?
We’ve since learned (or more accurately) remembered that everything works in cycles. We
have had multiple lunar and solar eclipses between that time and now.
There have also been multiple “natural” disasters. We are reminded (in life) that there are also checks and balances.
And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years, Genesis 1:14
Adam was given a beautiful pristine Garden, and given a few instructions on how to manage and maintain it. He was also given free will.
Shema Yisrael. YHVH-Adonai Eloheinu. YHVH-Adonai ehad.
Hear O’ Israel. The LORD is GOD. The LORD is One.
Free will means you have a choice. While there are some general but meaningful rules to maintain the Garden (our minds) successfully and thus our connection to GOD, enjoy and do as you please. However, there will be consequences for your thoughts and actions. So choose wisely.
It was never a religion. It was about using Wisdom. It is as scientific as the laws of gravity and balancing a see saw.
How much better to get wisdom than gold, to choose understanding rather than silver. The highway of the upright avoids evil. He who guards his way protects his life. Proverbs 16:16-17
After several mis-haps. Moses was sent to give the people a Manual for Instructions on how to manage the Garden (earth) successfully. It had already been given orally from Adam to Seth to Noah to Abraham etc.
The written Book of Instruction is also called the TORAH. It was given through the Hebrew nation for ALL of humanity.
Events around the world like wars, fires, and hurricanes (i.e. hurricane Milton and Helene in Florida) are simply the consequences of corruption and debauchery (i.e. idol worship, wild College Spring Break, Girls 
or Guys weekend Getaway etc.). Catastrophic events are a reflection of accumulative improper words, thoughts, deeds, and actions whether done or said in public or secretly. After all, the world was originally built on kindness.
See, I have set before you today life and goodness, as well as death and disaster. For I am commanding you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, statutes, and ordinances, so that you may live and increase, and the LORD your God may bless you in the land that you are entering to possess. Genesis 30:15-16
We hope everyone will take advantage of the High Holidays such as Rosh Hoshana and Yom Kippur to “clean house”. By that, we mean to do a self-reflection and repent of any mis-spoken words, thoughts or actions that you may have knowingly or unconsciously contributed to any atmospheric chaos. We al have.
Learning and abiding by LIFE’S RULE BOOK (i.e. 7 Noahide Laws and Ten Utterances aka 10 Commandments) are small things that lead to BIG RESULTS. What restores earth and humanity even faster? The Hand of GOD moves exponentially when you teach your children those rules of proper conduct including how to be kind and charitable to others.
It is particularly wise to honor the Sabbath Day (day of rest). It’s not that GOD needs it, but humans do.
We all need a day to rest and restore our mind and reflect on our conduct /deeds (business, finances, family, friends, strangers etc.) of the previous week. We should always contemplate how we can do better.
We are all here to learn. You play an important part in the restoration of the planet.
We are all given the divine opportunity and privilege to partner with GOD. It's all in the Book (Tanak/Old Testament only). We (all of humanity) are in it together. Will we each pass or fail the test?
May this be the season of your life that brings you greater wisdom, health, love and prosperity.
