The word Armageddon comes from the Hebrew words Har (hill) + Meggido ( a city in Palestine). It has also been foretold (in the Bible/Torah) the place where a final battle will be fought between the forces of good and evil: Sound familiar?
In light of current events in Israel, Gaza, Iran, Ukraine, Russia, the USA ... Did I miss anyone? It could be a pretty big deal.
The good news is that it's supposed to be the final war. The bad news means there has to be a war at all.
But it's supposed to be the war that ends all wars. So how bad could it be? Don't answer that.
So it doesn't necessarily mean it's really bad per se. It does really mean that it is a very distinct change in the way we are used to seeing things in this world.
For some that's really good. It means a more just and fair world, economy, people, communities, nation.
Nation being the entire world as one united entity. For souls who like that which is true and right, it's awesome! Eventually.
Who's going to clean all this up? I don't now. That's God's business. Just something to ponder.
