Israel's perspective must be that of a mature older sibling that has a spiritual map to freedom and healing for the world. When it releases all "add ons" from well meaning rabbis, pastors, and people and simply read and interpret the Torah for themselves with divine insight, they will see that they have always had the keys they needed to prepare for what is to come.
There is no whining or mourning on this journey. Teach Torah to the world and inspire mitzvot. That is all.
