1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains; where does my help come from?

1. Shir La'ma'alot Essa Einai El He'harim Me'ayin Yavo Ezri

2 My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth

2. Ezri Me'im Adonai Ose Shamayim Va'Aretz

3 He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber;

3. Al Yitten Rammot Raglecha, Al Yanum Shomrecha

4 indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

4. Hinneh Lo Yanum Ve'lo Yishan Shomer Yisrael

5 The Lord watches over you—the Lord is your shade at your right hand;

5. Adonai Shomrecha, Adonai Tsillecha, Al Yad Yeminecha

6 the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.

6. Yomam Hasshemesh Lo Yakkekah Ve'Yareach Ballayelah

7 The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life;

7. Adonai Yishmorkha Mikkol Ra, Yishmor Eth Nafshecha

8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

8. Adonai Yishmor Tsetecha Uvoyecha, Me'attah Ve'ad Olam
