When you first read the Torah (Old Testament of the Bible), it’s just an old book about laws and spirituality. That’s the outside.
However, if you stick with it and continue reading, studying, and absorbing its Wisdom, you realize not only is it a Book of Instruction for a good life, but the Book itself is alive. It encompasses the Name and essence of the Creator.
Reading the Book of Numbers Chapters 33 many readers ask why the Torah (a.k.a. Book of Instruction) takes the Israelites on 42 journeys. You will likely hear many answers. All of them are correct.
Some evolved students see the Name of God. Yes, the 42 journeys in the Book of Numbers 33 encompass the Name of Almighty God. It’s also a mirror reflection of Genesis Chapter 1.
No matter how many times you read the Torah. There is always something new. It may be ancient to some, but others will see it as an Oracle of the past, present and future. They are all correct. That’s what makes the Book so interesting.
If you haven't read the entire Hebrew Bible (in your own language) in its entirety for yourself, start with small portions as most do. It's better to read a little each day than too much and gorge or too little and starve the soul and consequently the body.
Seek and read from the Book of the LORD: Not one of these shall be missing; none shall be without her mate. For the mouth of the LORD has commanded, and his Spirit has gathered them. Isaiah 34:16
