At this point in history people are fighting around the world for a multitude of reasons. There's a war in the Ukraine, Israel, Gaza, Taiwan, on college and University campuses. What's going on? What are they really fighting for? What are they fighting about?
Be careful. God may be testing you. Will you pass the test?
Many of you are just frustrated. Home prices are too high in some places. There's inflation. There are hurricanes and floods. Hormone enraged new adults are fighting to end fighting while their parents are scrambling and praying. "Is this what I'm paying for?" In some ways yes. What did you teach your children before they left home? What values did you instill in them that will create a life time of good.
Perhaps they are standing for justice. They care about something other than themselves. That's a good thing.
But the old ways of fighting for what is good are out dated. Why? Because no one really has all the facts. If everyone had all the facts, there would be only one enemy. Pay attention to the following video.
"He will turn the hearts of the parents to their children, and the hearts of the children to their parents; or else I will come and strike the land with total destruction.” Malachi 4:6
He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore. Isaiah 2:4
The Lord is king! Let the earth rejoice! Let the farthest coastlands be glad. Dark clouds surround Him. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne. Psalm 97:1-2
How about you send the Name of God to your friends. Print and tape "The Name" on your wall, dorm room, children's room, screen saver whatever. This is the REAL way to call for God's help.
God is not a religion. God is the Creator of heaven, earth, you and me. God wants us all to be well. Try it.
Let's pray for world peace God's way. Let's all be amazed as to what that really means.
