“We want Moshiach now” sounds very nice. It's welcoming and pretty.
However, perhaps it is wiser to say, “prepare us for Moshiach now” or “show us how to prepare for Moshiach”.
When you are TRULY ready for Moshiach, Moshiach will appear for you. But will you show up?
We have a True Teacher. Many of you have visited these and other blog posts for years. But you never really show up. How?
Mature students don't hide. They show up with comments (a.k.a. feedback), so we can see at what level we need to teach. If you don’t want to fully show up to class, why should the teacher?
Can you imagine teaching a class for decades and the students pretend they are not present? This requires class participation. Honestly, we've shared all the information we believe you are able to handle for now.
Most of you are more than capable intellectually. But you also need a willing heart too. What does that mean?
History tells us that when a person or group of people decide to treat a certain class of people as “non-human” it is a set up to treat them like animals. And yet, you even treat your pets (animals) better than them (teachers).
You love your pets. You support your pets. That too is beautiful in its own way.
It is wise to be discerning. It is wise to do due diligence. We respect that.
But when all is said and done, and you excuse yourself by saying we’ve done all this before and we were wrong. Keep going. Eventually you will be right.
How do we know? We did it!
Each of us had to continue showing up long after it was easier not to do so. But we showed up for the Ultimate Master Teacher, the true and living GOD. We showed up because the living GOD places wisdom in these good teachers and provides good teaching (instruction).
We did not judge by the faces or places. We discerned the content as it aligned with the Torah or not. That's the point. We realized that by doing do we were building a vessel for the presence of the Shakina.
You need a vessel for the Presence to dwell. Most people have an outline and not the full blueprint.
Still not sure? You are still fighting your ancestors' enemy, the Amalikites (spirit of doubt).
How do you overcome (defeat) the Amalikites? Ask the living GOD to guide you.
Wait for the answer. It will come.
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1
And when you learn something new and continue to do so from that particular teacher or classroom, and your intuition tells you to support the class, do so without fear. Everyone learns at a different pace.
That's your personal test. It is not a collective decision.
Some people need to align high a higher course. Some need a slower pace. Studying at a slow pace does not mean a student is slow. Reading slowly is wise. It means you are soaking in the information. We call it "chewing on the Word" or "basking in the Word of God".
It's spiritual food. Your soul needs time to digest it.
Many of you say, We are waiting for a white man in authority that looks like us. Newsflash. Moses was not a white man. The Shakina is not a white man.
Does that bother you? It bothers some people. Who is like GOD?
Moshiach can and will appear however the situation is deemed best for the overall chai Israel community and the entire world. It’s not for you, me or anyone to say or decide.
He may or may not be white. He may or may not appear as a man.
Who knows? Who cares? That's the LORD"s business.
But if you are experiencing racism, antisemitism or misogyny in any way, consider this. It may be that it (racism, antisemitism or misogyny) exists in you.
Man (humanity) is created in GOD's image. GOD created all race of people. Therefore all belongs to the Creator. There is no preference accept that humanity reflects the true and living GOD which is to say humanity should reach its full potential.
For now, we will continue putting teachers in the forum that “look like you” - or your collective preference of the appearance of authority. But eventually, we will expand the teacher profile for everyone's personal growth and development. They are just in training right now.
Found a good class? Respect the class. Respect the teaching. Respect the teacher. They are today’s prophets. They will use the Tanak as the primary instruction manual. The wise will know.
Still need help discerning? Circumcise your heart. Seek the living GOD and you will find.
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. Ezekiel 36:26
And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.Ezekiel 36:27
