Where Do Babies Come from?

Ask a child where food comes from and he or she will likely tell you that food comes from the grocery store. Ask people where babies come from today, and you will get a multitude of answers.

They may tell you babies come from a petri dish, a surrogate, or mommy’s belly. But they are all wrong. Babies may come through one of these channels. But babies really come from God. Even animals know that.

I know it sounds overly simplistic when emotions are involved. Ask some of the great women of the bible such as Sara, Rachel, Hannah, Rebecca and Samson’s mother and they will all tell you it’s both complicated and beautiful. Why? Because the most natural and beautiful thing that these women desired was initially illusive to them. It seemed impossible, unfair and unavailable.

It must be difficult to watch other women so casually conceive and birth children as easily as one breathes. Some women even take their fertility for granted and say they don’t want the precious gifts they conceived during “playtime”. All children are precious to God.

Ironically, many women who have difficulty conceiving actually have a great blessing over their lives and their seeds. Their seeds are like priceless gems. Everyone knows precious gems like gold, diamonds, rubies, sapphires and emeralds are not easily found on the surface. Right? You have to go deep.

You have to go directly to the “Senior Curator” of divine babies to unlock and access them. How? They come into existence is through prayer. Prayer connects these women (like Sarah, Rebecca, Rachel, Hanna, etc.) to the Source of all Creation. It also caused them to pray in a way that provided a blessing to protect the divine purpose each of their children had in this world.

So, before the expense of IVF, surrogates, labs etc, seek help from Almighty GOD in prayer. Connect to the ancient stories where each of these women in the Old Testament of the Bible were told they would eventually give birth to a child.

Trust me when I say read the stories from the Old Testament (Tanakh) only. It’s sanctified by GOD.

Stop voicing any fears you may have if you have been doing so. Your age is irrelevant. Keep the matter private between you and your spouse especially once you conceive.

Some people intuitively know you have a blessing on your life and may or may not wish you well. It’s personal. Trust God.

Read those ancient biblical stories regularly. Find your favorite praise song from the Book of Psalms (Tehillim) to help build your faith. Continue to visit your ob/gyn for your regular checkups.

Listen for inner promptings such as what foods, situations or conditions (or people) to avoid during this time. Then, thank GOD daily that your child and/or children are on the way.

Sometimes it’s as simple and easy as you and your spouse going on vacation and just having fun! Stress and tight clothes (for men and women) are not a good environment for conception.

Loosen up. Relax. Be grateful.

Pray for the well being of your pregnancy, family and child/children, purpose, and destiny in advance by faith. I think you will be AMAZED by what GOD will do for you and your family.

He settles the childless woman in her home as a happy mother of children. Praise the LORD. Psalm 113:9

Shalom. Shalom.
