An amazing trial took place December 7, 2022 in Upstate, New York. A single citizen and writer took tech giant Microsoft to task for invading her private chattel (a.k.a computer) while she worked offline. Turns out Microsoft and its un-named “Third Party Clients” are not just watching what you do online but offline as well.
The individual filed a lawsuit Pro Se and wishes to remain anonymous but has shared enough information so the mass public (including Microsoft's 50+ million subscribers) can also benefit from the fruit of this labor. Here are a few of the items “Ms. Pro Se” wants for herself and the masses:
- · Remove Microsoft Printer and Fax from Microsoft Software (why is it there?)
- · Remove remote USB drives (See Device Manager and see at least 10+ USB)
- · Remove “roaming app - share path” from auto save (Click File,Option in MS Word etc)
- · End “Consent to web class” from Internet 11 (enters your computer without permission)
- · Remove Microsoft Edge “web view” (allows their “Clients” to Watch you)
- · Allow End User the option to Uninstall Microsoft Edge Browser
- · End Microsoft Bing storing keystrokes (stores your passwords w/o permission etc.)
- · End “Remote Access” to Projectors from Foreign Users (other than computer owner)
- · End Third Party Client Access and Background Access without EU Consent
- · Remove Store Sellers app (i.e., BEST BUY) from "Trusted Center" giving remote access
There’s a lot more but you get the idea. Access your own computer, laptop, or tablet’s Device Manager to see some of the outrage for yourself. We would like to preserve your right to privacy on your computer, laptop, tablets which you purchased and own. Microsoft should not be able to dictate how you use your computer or enter when you work offline.
American tech companies have been blaming China and Russia for many of their own VPN misdeeds. TikTok is not the real problem. It’s happening right here in the U.S.A.
In response, Microsoft’s circulated a New “User Agreement” telling its users not to "look back there". What kind of Wizard of Ozness Technology goes on back there? Ms. Pro Se told the judge it’s her computer “chattel” which she purchased and can look wherever she so desires.
Microsoft could not dispute the claims. They only responded (shamelessly) by sending their End User Agreement. You only purchased your computer. The believe their “licenses” give them the power to crawl all over your computer, laptop, smart phone, tablets, grab and sell End User content “royalty free” etc. Can you imagine? That includes your intellectual properties and private letters. What chutzpah!
The entire tech community appears to be “shook”. Apple co-founder Stephen Wozniak and Tesla/Twitter hound dog Elon Musk announced a halt to all A.I. trampling “little guys” for six months until further notice.
And then there's the close of Silicon Valley Bank. Coincidence? Who knows?
Watched the 2023 College Basketball March Madness? Never underestimate the power of a small group of determined people whose time has come. And Ms Pro Se tells us she has definitely trusted her God for help in this matter. It reminds us of the following quote in the Book of Zechariah:
‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts. Zechariah 4:6
That said; let's you, me, and everyone contact Judge Gail Donofrio to make sure she does the right thing for all of us. Microsoft has been trying to get in good with the Judge through NYS Senator Chuck Schumer and NY Governor Hohul by offering to funnel new jobs and revenues into New York State.
Could Microsoft be trying to persuade the Judge to “look the other way” ? Micron Industries you say?
If we've learned anything during the corona-virus pandemic, it's that we the people shall survive. Our privacy, independence and peace of mind will not be compromised.
We must inspire integrity and honesty in government, corporations, education, banking, and health care etc. We appreciate their service(s) but without consumers and tax paying citizens they are nothing. Hold them accountable.
Want your private information, documents, and creative works to remain private? Send a Letter to NYS Supreme Court Judge Gail Donofrio (transferred to Judge James Vazzana, NY Senator Chuck Schumer, and NYS Governor Kathy Hochul to let them know you support the “Lee the People” against Microsoft so you, your family, your private letters and documents and anything else you create using Microsoft Software remains your own.
Though Microsoft defaulted (did not answer claims), the case still awaits an official verdict. Make your opinion known.

Update: As of May 1, 2023 we have heard Judge Donofrio "reserved a verdict" and abandoned the case and has been replaced by Judge James Vazzana. Microsoft and other major tech companies have since used the time to further hide the evidence of their unethical behavior as you may have heard publicly as the "six month AI pause" announced by Elon Musk et al. Thanks in part to your voice, "authorities are investigating the matter". Clearly, there is room for an ethical software company to arise and replace these "Tech giants". Update as of October 2023. Since the initial filing, New York State has suddenly been offered an infusion of Tech capital - supposedly $100B over twenty years from Microsoft affiliate Micron and a recent addition of $500M+ according to Senator Chuck Schumer. Monroe County has moved from using Zoom to "Microsoft Teams". Both judges have abandoned the case. The courts chambers are filled with new computers, flat screens and such. You get the idea.
Please share your opinion.Help restore computer owners Constitutional Right to privacy and. Microsoft has become a monopoly. You should not need their permission to enter your own computer, laptop or tablet. It's out of control. Please say something.
