Let's face it. Some people are in serious economic distress. Something has got to give for low-mid income people barely getting by. Rather than waiting to hit the lottery, here are some practical things you can do today to create additional income.
Some people are making a lot of money making a few smart moves. You can too!

1) Consider buying groceries at mid size grocery stores like Aldi, Trader Joe, ShopRite and/or your local farmers market. Many of these places offer organic, vegan, and kosher options at affordable prices.
For those who may find themselves short of funds for food essentials, please contact your local food pan
try for free groceries. They too offer many healthy food options. Many also bridge the gap for many parents and children during the summer months who may otherwise be fed by school lunches. Some even have mobile food pantries that set up pop up shops in certain communities in the summer or throughout the year.
2) Look for eSavings and eChecking accounts with high yield interest rates with no monthly fees. Most of these options offer you up to 20 x times the national average (1% - 5% on average). Most national brick and morter banks offer less than 0%. High Yield Savings Accounts are mostly offered through an online esavings or echecking account. Because they are offered online, they don't have an overhead expense like most big brick and mortar banks. However, some local credit unions do offer high yield savings as well.
Do your research. Make sure you choose one that is FDIC insured.
Sites like bankrate, investopedia, and nerd wallet post these high yield savings accounts each month. Remember, they are ads. You don't have to choose what they promote. Choose the one that fits your needs. Many have very low or no minimum amounts to open an account and no monthly fees.
Online eSavings does not send you a debit card. The goal is to save and grow your money. But many of the echecking accounts do send a debit card. Ask if there are any ATM fees and if so how to avoid them.
Some also offer high yield savings and checking accounts for small businesses. Once you establish a relationship, you can also request a personal loan, commercial loan, mortgage, car loan etc. if needed.
3) Tithe
This is a powerful secret many people overlook. But it's the secret sauce to multi-generational wealth.
Donate the first 10% of all your net income to your local synagogue or place of worship. It's a sound biblical concept called tithing used for centuries by many wealthy people like John D. Rockefeller which he started doing when he was a poor high school drop out. He tithed from every dollar he made and became the richest man in America in his day. I believe many of you will do better. Many of those wealth barons forgot the spiritual laws that catapulted them to great success.
Don't let greet be your guide. Wealth alone will not make you happy. Wealth enhances who you really are.
Tithing and charitable giving help keep you balanced. It also provides a multitude of other sometimes miraculous benefits when you need it or least expect.
The sages say 10% keeps you out of trouble and guides you to better opportunities. But wealth starts to implode when you donate the first 20% to your place of worship. Think you can't afford to do it? Think again.
People who tithe are still be able to pay the bills even when they were living pay check to pay check. And that's before the 10-15% you've allocated to your savings or investment account.
Tithe to GOD 10-20% from your net income. Pay yourself 10-15% from the net income. You will feel better in ways I can not explain. Start with at least ten percent to each category. Add a little more when you can.
Set up automatic withdrawals through your Human Resources Department Payroll or go online and set it up yourself. You won't miss it and additional money seems to come out of nowhere when you do,
Rockefeller's wealth continues to grow even after his death. Amazing. Right?
We don't know why but tithing works. Try it for yourself and see. If you have no money to start, you can make free clicks for charities online daily. Sponsors will donate on your behalf until you have your own money to donate. Bur you must do it daily. If you have a consistent paycheck, please start with the tithing and savings method from your income as soon as possible.
Trust us. Tithing and giving charitably is a great way to get out of debt and increase your wealth.
Support your local community first and then consider a national or international organization. Never stop giving to places like your local synagogue, church or charitable organization and you will always prosper.
We're not even sure why it works. But tithing is the only place in the bible that allows you to test God.
"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it." Malachi 3:10
John D. Rockefeller says his mother taught him how to tithe. It made him a billionaire.
When he got sick and was told he had a short time to live, he remembered he had stopped tithing and starting giving away millions of dollars to spiritual centers, schools, the arts, and healthcare. He shocked his doctors and lived into his nineties. Miracle? Maybe. Tithing? Likely.

4) Become Financially Literate.
Albert Einstein called compound interest the eight wonder of the world. Be sure to learn how compound interest and dividends works. Compound interest and dividends makes your money grow faster.
It's your money literally working for you while you are awake or sleep. Once you get this going, your money grows on auto-pilot!
John D. Rockefeller may have 
been a high school drop out, but he took one business accounting class at his local college as a young man where he met and eventually married his wife Laura Spelman Rockefeller. Knowledge is power. Learn and earn.
Don't chase trends. Invest long term. Keep your money boring. Let it quietly earn and work for you with consistent compound interest and dividends while you go live your life.
We like to spread the risk. Search for those ETFs and Index Funds that have outperformed the S&P 500 for the last ten or twenty years. Be patient. Find a few good gems. Buy low and hold for decades. Watch it grow!
5.) Use your Social Media Network skills to Prosper!
Need additional income? Don't want to get another part time job?
Many people have learned how to leverage their social network and social media to create additional income. You don't have to be Kim Kardashian to do this either. You can share items you have already purchased and like and recommend to others and earn income from it.
Check out sites like Temu (rumored to be the next Amazon), Alibaba, or discount stores like TJMaxx, Marshalls, The Dollar Tree or anywhere you can purchase quality items at bargain or wholesale prices and re-sell on sites like Amazon, Etsy, eBay, or Shopify.
Buy in bulk if you can. Don't buy items you don't like, use, or need. After all, it may or may not sell.
Buy something you actually like, use or need. Demonstrate its use in a video if you really like it.
Then post a link on your social media page, website or blog with your private link where others can purchase. Your link can be where you resell the product or your affiliate link.

6) Continue your Education Online
Continue learning. Add value to your personal profile, your resume and your potential employers. There are sites (i.e. edx.org, coursera.org and udemy.com) that offer university education courses online.
Many of these online courses are affordable. Some classes are offered free.
You can take a course in computer coding, graphic arts, religion, business, marketing and just about anything you can imagine! You can audit a class at a local college or university in person for free or obtain certification for completing the class for an additional fee. You choose!
Most online course fees are minimal compared to paying for a year at a college or university. Some course fees are less than $200 as of this writing. And many of them are offered at Ivy League universities! Wouldn't that look good on our resume?
Imagine paying $100-$1,000 for taking 1-5 courses online at our own pace from the comfort of your home? You are continuing your education and adding value to your resume and potential employer.
That means you can demand a higher salary! If not where you are, then at your next place of employment.
7) Part Time Freelance Work
Use your current skills or newfound skills after taking some online courses by doing freelance work. Many people and small businesses are now working remotely and seeking subcontract workers to help them.
Sites like Freelancer.com, Fiverr.com, Flexjobs.com, and Upwork.com are good places to start. Choose the sites that offer the kind of work for which you qualify.
You can even join multiple legit sites and see what comes your way. Don't give out your personal information. Work through sites. They screen the employers and will pay you once the work is complete.
You can do most of this work from home, vacation, or maternity leave etc. You just need a laptop and a smartphone!
8) Flexible Part Time Shopper and Drivers
Like to shop? Have a car? Great!
Sites like Instacart need personal grocery shoppers. Grubhub and DoorDash deliver meals.
Work when you want or are available. Other sites like Uber and Lyft offer decent pay for part time work.
9) Package and Sell your Own Product or Courses
Have a physical product, ebook, audio book, or course of your own that you can package and offer for sale?
Try payhip. com Join free. You can also start your own blog, free, and display your expertise in your field.
Share the same blog in a podcast and or vlog (video). You will build a reputation while driving traffic!

Etsy, Shopify, Clickbank, and eBay are a few others to consider to resell your own products. Become an affiliate at some the websites you frequent most! Earn cash commissions from the work of others!
10) Marketing your Products for Free or Low Cost
Utilize (but don't abuse) your social media networks like TikTok, Facebook , X (aka Twitter), Instagram etc. Build repeat customers on YouTube Videos by encouraging people to subscribe to your channel.
Once your have 1,000 YouTube subscribers and 4000 hours of views, you can apply to have your YouTube channel monetized. Receive monthly checks in the mail! Imagine having 1 Million YouTube Subscribers!
You can even place a small ad and gain unlimited website traffic with a small budget!
Sign up free at Fiverr.com and find freelance promoters who can hep you reach millions of people on social media regardless of your budget. It doesn't matter of you have $10 or $1000. Just be consistent. Discover the PATH to Ongoing MONETIZATION!
You can even start with the free options until you start making money. But never be shy about investing in yourself, your family and your own well being even if you have a small amount to start. Whether it be to learn something new, placing ads (marketing) or personal development. You and your family are worth it.
A little wisdom will take you a long way. Enjoy the process. Have family fun time!
You may not get rich over night. But your prosper eventually.
Persist. Be consistent. Set goals. Be patient.
