Hi! I'm so glad you're here!

Roughly 15 years ago, I career-switched into education, obtained a Masters Degree in Special Education and became dually licensed and certified in Gen Ed and Special Ed.

Prior to education, I operated as a single-parent full-time realtor on 100% commission for approximately 20 years. In that world, I was very accustomed to getting measurable results because of exercising a consistently high level of skill, knowledge, professionalism, attention to detail, and customer/client care.

That skillset, mindset, and track record for long-term growth and success became instrumental when switching into education. I was able to see the field of education and particularly special education from both the outside in, as well as from the inside out!

This unique perspective led me to semi-retire and launch Special Education Simplified—turning my 15 years of classroom experience into a roadmap to help empower parents to better understand the process and advocate effectively for their children.
