Whatever your concern, you can be confident in the quality of my service. Your empowerment is my passion. While I don't take myself too seriously, I take my work very seriously. With nearly 30 years of experience in helping people therapeutically, I have a range of skills to offer you. I am an advanced hypnotherapist dedicated to providing exactly what you need. I trained in CBT-hypnotherapy because I strongly believe in science and evidence-based techniques but I also love how blissfully relaxing hypnotherapy is too.
To enhance my hypnotherapy sessions, I integrate Psychotherapeutic tools such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), a mainstream approach recognised by global health organisations. The combination of CBT and hypnotherapy not only complements each other but substantial research shows it increases positive results in over 70% of cases. Additionally, I incorporate third-wave therapies such as Mindfulness and ACT and integrate breathwork, muscle relaxation and neuroscience. If you're struggling with sleep I offer CBT-insomnia (The gold standard treatment for insomnia)
By integrating these approaches, I have a breadth of skills and flexibility to create a highly tailored treatment plan just for you.
As sessions are tailored to suit your needs the number of sessions and frequency varies slightly but singular issues such as weight management would benefit from weekly sessions and most aspects can be covered in 3-4 sessions. More complex issues such as IBS require sessions every 2 weeks with 6-8 sessions being typical. Many issues only require 2-3 sessions such as fears and phobias. What ever your issue you will only be asked to attend the necessary number of sessions and not one more.
