A 6 year old commented that she had heard the words "magic moments" in the opening song.... and so she'd been quietly looking out for magic.
It made me realise how often we think of magic as wands and spells - things from movies or books. But actually, we see and perform magic every single day. Not the kind with capes and sparks, but in the way we treat other people.
Magic happens when you compliment someone on how they look......
Or when you make someone smile, or laugh.
It happens when you do something unexpected for someone else - like helping out, showing up with a bunch of flowers, or dropping in for a cuppa and a chat.
People need people. And that's where the real magic lives.
I think it's up to us, as adults, to show this to the next generation - to help them see how magic happens in the real world.
I'd love to hear about the kind of magic you create in your life.
