I've always loved dogs and always dreamed of having one. That dream came true when I adopted Sunday - a tiny puppy found abandoned on the streets of Bali.

Her first year was rough: fleas, ticks, a blood parasite, giardia, then a UTI, puppy pyoderma, cherry eye, allergies - it felt like a never ending story. At some point, I'd had enough of chasing quick fixes, so I went back to basics: gut health, immunity, the whole foundation. That's when I became an "almond mom." I always knew I was never going to be the kind of dog owner who walks her dog once in a while, feeds some kibble, and calls it a day. I knew I was always going to do whatever it takes to keep Sunday healthy, happy, loved, and fulfilled - not just what's convenient.
