What Happens If There's Inclement Weather?
Sunnyfest is an outdoor event, so we advise all attendees to dress and prepare accordingly. This event will happen rain or shine, and if the weather becomes severe, the main events will be moved inside the Dr. Conrad Worrill Track & Field Center.

SUNNYFEST is a free experience for all.
Whether wanting to spend the day hanging out with friends or looking for a great activity to do as a family. Sunnyfest is the vine you’ll want to feel the rays from.
Can I Bring My Own Chair?
Yes, you may bring your own lawn seating but large umbrellas, tents and coverings are not allowed as they restrict the view of other attendees.
May I Bring My Pet?
No, pets are not allowed (including emotional support pets) on venue grounds during this event. This excludes service animals for those with disabilities.
May I Bring Food?
No outside food is allowed. There will be food on the premises for purchase.
May I Bring Alcoholic Beverages?
No, alcoholic beverages are NOT allowed at the event.
Is there Parking?
Yes, there is metered street parking as well as a parking lot across the street from the venue that offers discounted parking.
Is This Event Close to Public Transportation?
Yes, and we advise everyone to use public transportation. CTA bus route #8, closest train stop Red Line 35th Street (White Sox).
What Items Are Prohibited?
The following items are prohibited on the venue grounds.
- Unauthorized Professional cameras and professional recording (photo, video, audio) equipment
- Drones or any other remote flying device
- Firearms
- Hammocks
- Inflatables of any kind
- Glass containers of any kind
- Illegal and Illicit substances of any kind
- Alcoholic Beverages
- Large Umbrellas
- Pets (except service animals)
- Skateboards, scooters, bicycles, wagons, carts or any personal motorized vehicles
- Tents, canopies, or shade structures of any kind
- Unauthorized/unlicensed vendors are not allowed.
- Weapons or explosives of any kind
- Fireworks
- Bicycles inside festival grounds
- Carts of any kind (including Red Wagons)
